Office ManagerHailing from the plains of Kansas by way of a 20 year stay in Oregon, Lisa Pickert has long been influenced by ideas of reuse and overall materials conservation. Lisa received her B.A. from The University of Kansas and a M.A. in Education from Bowling Green State University. Subsequent to those years of formal education, Lisa taught herself building and remodeling. She ended up earning her contractor’s license and ran her own ceramic tile installation company for a period of time. Lisa has remodeled a number of homes and is constantly on the lookout for new projects, earning the title of “serial remodeler” from her friends. Lisa served as boardchair of one of the most successful building materials reuse stores in the country, The Rebuilding Center, in Portland, OR. Currently Lisa is focused on green building as incentivized by the LEED documentation process. Lisa became a LEED-AP in August 2007. Read Lisa's professional resume. |
